The Law of the European Union


Introduction

The course is designed as a general introduction to the legal system of the European Union covering both its constitutional and institutional architecture and focusing on a selection of substantive law issues.

Attention focuses on equipping the reader with the basic tools necessary to understand the underlying principles of European legal integration and becoming comfortable working with European Union legal sources.

The materials follow three basic themes. 1) The Constitutional and Institutional Setting of the Union and its Evolution. 2) Select Issues of Intra-Union Trade in Goods and Services. 3) Select Issues of International Trade with Europe. Please find the materials posted on our website.
