Chi Carmody joined the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law in 1999. He clerked with the Ontario Court of Appeal and was in private practice in Toronto from 1994-96 before undertaking graduate work in international law at the University of Michigan Law School and Georgetown University Law Center. In 1999 he interned with the WTO Appellate Body Secretariat. Chi Carmody was contributor to, and general editor of, Trilateral Perspectives on International Law (American Society of International Law 2002) and has published articles in the field of public international law, international trade law, and international business transactions.
At the Jean Monnet Center, he will focus on developing a theory of WTO law and on compliance with WTO decision-making.
